Hand and Finger Infections

Hand and Finger Infections

Sometimes the hand, wrist or fingers can develop infections as small bacteria, dirt and other germs get into the skin. A infection may be small at first, but if not treated or addressed could become worse and even spread to other parts of the hand and fingers. Often times, minimal redness, swelling and pain develop even before the infection becomes visible, and sometimes surgery may be needed to wash out and remove the infected areas.
