Arthroscopy allows the surgeon to view inside of your wrist joint without making a large open incision. Procedures that may be done through the scope would be loose body removal, ligament repair, ganglion cyst removal, synovectomy, or TFCC (triangular fibrocartilage complex) repair. The recovery time for most arthroscopic procedures is quicker than open procedures, allowing patients to return to work and function sooner, rather than later.
